This OER Laboratory Manual was developed specifically for undergraduate students and pre-health students in the first semester of Human Anatomy and Physiology (A&P I, BIO141).

A&P I is the first semester of a two-course sequence in human anatomy and physiology suitable for pre-nursing and other allied health students.  As such, these labs are suitable for a one semester, 100-or 200-level undergraduate human anatomy and physiology class or an upper level high school biology class.

Each A&P I lab begins with a relevant case study. As students progress through the lab, they learn how to solve the Case. Students are encouraged to apply what they learn. There are questions sprinkled throughout the lab, and each lab contains homework questions (a post-lab) which may be collected, reviewed, and graded.

In addition, for many labs we provide an instructor memo that includes the materials required to do the lab as written, as well as a sample instructor powerpoint.
